Chapter 1
Cal Barkes met his friend, Teo Galván, at the ranch west of Ann Arbor for a horseback ride in the forest. It wasn’t his idea; Teo begged him to go. His buddy was staying for the summer in a small cabin a half hour drive from the city and lately he’d grown lonely. After several plaintive texts, Cal gave in and agreed to come out for the day. It meant that he missed afternoon football practice but he promised the coach he’d make it up later in the week.
It was a warm August day when he pulled his jeep into the parking lot of the ranch and jumped out, looking around for his bro. He spotted him in the nearby corral; Teo was finishing up a riding lesson with some rich brat. Cal nodded appreciatively when he saw all the hot milfs lining the fence, watching their precious little tikes prance around on ponies.
The ranch was not exactly ranch-like; it was more of a giant pole barn that opened out onto a large corral. At least the surroundings were beautiful; the ranchland was mostly wooded and the trees provided a welcome respite from the hot sun. Within the fenced enclosure, several instructors were spaced out evenly, guiding their students through the basics of horseback riding. It looked really dull.
Cal didn’t think much of horses or riding them, for that matter. He considered them less than manly and, surveying the crowd of moms and daughters only reinforced this notion. Teo was the only dude in sight.
Wait, he thought, if Teo’s the only dude in sight that means he’s the only fuckin’ rooster in the henhouse. Jesus, maybe my bro is smarter than I give him credit for? He must get more than his share of pussy! He paused a moment, briefly envious of his friend before snorting with laughter. We’re talkin’ ‘bout Teo here. He wouldn’t know what to do with a pussy if it jumped up and grabbed him by the pecker.
He was still chuckling to himself as he waved to his bro. Teo lifted a hand to return the wave and then had to clutch desperately at the reins to avoid falling off his horse. Cal shook his head. Some instructor! Dude can barely stay in the saddle. He settled against the fence on the far end of the corral, studiously ignoring all of the admiring glances cast in his direction.
Cal Barkes was a stud and he knew it. Tall and muscular and lean, he was accustomed to drawing attention wherever he went. Even though he wasn’t yet eighteen years old, his thick, brown beard and macho bearing made him seem older. He was proud that he could go into any bar and not get carded.
Mindful of his studly image, he grabbed a stalk of timothy grass and sucked on it, leaning over the railing and smirking when Teo’s foot got stuck in the stirrup while dismounting from his mare. His goofy friend had always been a klutz and spending a summer on a horse didn’t seem to have made much difference.
Cal sighed. Sometimes he wondered why he and Teo were still friends. They had been close as boys but grew apart as they got older. Cal was drawn toward sports and Teo preferred spending time outside with his head in the clouds. He’d developed a fondness for horseback riding a few summers ago while at camp and now fancied himself a regular cowboy. Cal suspected that his friend was playing up this identity in the attempt to prove he was just as much as an athlete as Cal.
Tall and gawky with stringy brown hair, big teeth and a long nose, Teo would never win a beauty pageant. If he just lifted weights occasionally and maybe did something for exercise besides riding, he might almost be considered jock-worthy. But, nah, he was too much of a geek. And the fact he didn’t put much effort into personal grooming didn’t help. Even a good haircut would make a huge difference!
“Hi, Cal!” Teo called out as he neared, tugging his mare behind him on the lead. The horse was a pretty chestnut with a white star on her forehead. She was immaculately groomed, quite unlike the perennially disheveled Teo. Even though Cal didn’t really care that much about horses, he was nonetheless impressed by this one.
“‘Sup, bro,” Cal grunted, the grass still hanging out of the corner of his mouth. “Ready to go for a ride?”
Teo nodded, smiling broadly and displaying his big teeth. Despite his critical view of his friend, Cal couldn’t help smiling back. Being with his bro brought back a lot of good memories and he found himself growing wistful of the long summers they spent doing nothing but fishing and biking and hanging out in the woods.
A half hour later, Cal was astride a majestic stallion named Gus. The huge, black horse was the only one in the stable big enough to carry him and the two bonded almost as soon as Cal stepped into Gus’ stall. He’d held out a carrot and the great beast had extended his head, folding back his horsey lips and grabbing at the vegetable with his thick teeth. Cal laughed and patted the animal on its shiny neck, pausing to run his fingers through Gus’ long forelock.
He was lifting the saddle off the fence and preparing to slide it over his back when he noticed the foreign appendage hanging down between the stallion’s rear legs. It was so long and slimy that it took Cal a moment to realize it was a penis. When he finally understood what it was, he drew back in disgust.
“Looks like he likes you, Cal,” Teo teased, watching from outside the stall. “A lot.”
“Dude!” Cal complained. “That’s fucking gross! Why hasn’t he been gelded?”
Teo shrugged, still smirking. “He has! Being ball-less doesn’t prevent stallions from getting excited now and then. They even still try to mount the fillies…and hapless boys who happen to be in the stall with them.”
Cal blanched, inwardly recoiling in horror. The thought of being knocked down and… He shuddered, forcing the repulsive thought out of his mind. Taking a deep breath, he turned his attention away from the stallion’s offensive member and focused on attaching the saddle..keeping himself at a safe distance from the thing. In a few minutes, he led the horse out of the barn and climbed atop, glad the ugly horsecock was out of view.
They rode several miles to a lake in the middle of the state land. Cal stripped out of his clothes and removed the saddle from his horse, remounting to ride bareback into the water. The horse grew spirited in the water, kicking and splashing so much that Cal whooped with laughter. He loved being naked out in the sun during the summer! He squeezed the horse between his thighs and leaned forward, wrapping his arms around Gus’ neck and giggling like a little boy.
After initially hesitating, Teo joined him on his mare, Lady. More circumspect about public nudity, he had left on his shorts. Cal rolled his eyes but refrained from teasing his bro; he knew that Teo was self-conscious about his tiny dick. It was an unspoken truth between the two friends that Cal could afford to be more outrageous with his nudity because he was hung like a horse….well, maybe not like an actual horse, he thought, remembering Gus’ monster but he did have a very large penis by human standards.
Being naked around Teo gave Cal an ego boost. Not only could he strut around with his big dick swinging proudly between his hairy thighs, he could feel superior in pretty much every other respect as well. His nerdy friend was skinny-fat with narrow shoulders and a distinct, rounded belly. Not yet able to grow a beard, he only sported a few, scraggly hairs on his chin and nothing on his smooth chest. His legs were scrawny and he had no ass.
Cal, in contrast, was well-formed and hairy with wide shoulders and rippling muscles. His abs were shredded and covered with brown curly hairs that spread upward, enveloping his powerful chest. His legs were long but sculpted and his thighs were nothing short of thick. His big dick might get the girls shrieking his praises but his big, beefy butt was also a favorite; they loved to dig their nails into his ass cheeks as he pounded his thick rod deep into their wet pussies.
Yeah, Teo was pathetic in comparison and Cal secretly loved parading around in front of him.
They cavorted in the water for a long time, finally growing tired and retiring to the reedy shore to lie back and watch the sun descend toward the horizon. It was a perfect afternoon but for one thing: Teo was besieged by mosquitos. The little biting insects plagued him while leaving Cal completely unbothered. Teo was covered in red welts within a short time and kept swatting and scratching and cursing until Cal pushed himself up on his elbows and asked if he wanted to head back.
“Yeah, dude,” Teo admitted forlornly. “I think that’s smart. I don’t wanna catch that disease that’s going around. I mean, the horses were inoculated against it but I’m not!”
Cal turned to look at him, furrowing his brow. “What disease is that? I haven’t heard of anything.”
“Triple E,” Teo answered, clarifying, “Eastern Equine Encephalitis. It’s a real problem this year!”
“Huh. That’s weird. If there’s a vaccine for horses, why isn’t there one for people, too?”
Teo shrugged. “Dunno. I guess it’s not widespread enough to make big pharma enough money.”
Cal pushed himself up on his feet and padded over to the saddle. Gus and Lady were grazing nearby and the big stallion barely twitched when he slung the saddle over his back. Within a few minutes, the boys were dressed and the horses were ready. They rode back to the ranch at a fast enough clip to keep the mosquitos at bay.
***
Cal would never have admitted it to Teo but he’d had so much fun that he couldn’t wait to return. Careful to keep his tone neutral, he nonchalantly suggested that he might have some time over the weekend for a visit and was secretly delighted when Teo jumped at the offer. “Oh, man!” his friend said excitedly. “That’d be a fucking blast! I’d love it if ya came out again. There’s an extra bunk in my cabin if ya wanna stay overnight.”
Cal lifted his broad shoulders noncommittally while inwardly pumping his fist. “We’ll see, brah. We’ll see. I got lotsa stuff going on but, if I can make it, I’ll bring beer and steaks and we can have a barbecue.”
Teo had been so happy that he threw himself into Cal’s arms and they shared a discreet guy hug before Cal grew uncomfortable and pushed his bro away.
***
Friday evening couldn’t come fast enough for Cal. He drove down the dusty roads to the ranch at breakneck speed and arrived just as Teo was finishing with his last student. He was so busy checking out all the hot mommas loading their daughters into their minivans that he didn’t pay much attention to his friend at first. When he finally saw him, though, he did a double take.
Whoa.
What had happened to Teo?
His goofy, awkward friend had changed.
A lot.
At first, he was convinced the tall, muscular, dark-haired dude on the big stallion was someone else. Teo sported a closely-trimmed beard and super tight haircut under his cowboy hat. His shoulders were distinctly wider and his torso was replete with muscles. Those muscles strained against his tight, flannel shirt which was unbuttoned, displaying Teo’s mounded pecs. A profusion of thick, black hair poured out of the open collar.
Teo guided his spirited stallion deftly over to Cal and leaped off, sauntering over to the fence in a confident manner that was completely out of character. Cal’s mouth fell open. If he’d been a dog, his tail would have been between his legs.
“Uh, hi, bro,” he said, reaching out and clasping his friend’s thick forearm. “Ya look different. Been workin’ out er sumthin?”
Teo laughed, a deep, rich sound that echoed across the corral. “Nah, brah, just ridin’ horses like always.” He lifted his hat off and ran a hand through his short, thick hair. “Bein’ out in the country does wonders for a guy.”
Cal swallowed, an unfamiliar emotion washing over him. It took him a while to realize what it was: Shyness. He felt shy around his big, muscular friend who seemed suddenly like a stranger. The old Teo–from just a few days ago!–had been clumsy and awkward but this man swaggered around in a self-assured manner that put Cal off balance. He was used to being the undisputed alpha and now could practically feel his position in the social hierarchy plummeting.
He looked up–looked up!!–at his friend and flushed, feeling his pulse pound in his ears. Making matters worse was the way Teo regarded him; the smile on his face and dancing eyes told Cal that his friend was very aware of the effect his virile presence had on him.
Teo reached across the fence and placed a big, warm hand on his shoulder and squeezed. “So, man, ya ready to ride? I got Gus all saddled up and ready for ya. I thought maybe this time we could ride out to the old quarry.”
“Uh, yeah, s-s-sure,” Cal stammered, hating how weak he sounded, adding, “But, you know, only if ya wanna, that is…” He kicked himself mentally after saying it. Why was he acting like a timid little girl around Teo. Teo Galván, of all people!
“Yeah, I do wanna,” Teo replied, eyes twinkling.
The warmth in his brown eyes was genuine and had a strange impact on Cal: His stomach got all fluttery. He shook his head at himself for acting like a stupid fanboy. What the fuck was wrong with him?
***
Teo was in good spirits on the way to the quarry. He joked around with Cal in a gentle manner that he was unaccustomed to. Cal was used to the crude, put-down humor among the bros on the football team where the goal was proving how macho you were and how inferior every other guy was. This unexpectedly kind humor threw him almost as much as Teo’s physical changes and his unease showed in his handling of Gus. The big stallion was so jumpy that he nearly bucked Cal off at one point.
“Whoa!” Teo called out, reaching to take the reins away from him and calming the horse with a steady hand on its neck. “Here, bud, how ‘bout we swap horses and you ride Sylvan here. He’ll take good care of ya.”
Cal bowed his head, ashamed, but perked up when he saw Teo watching him with a fond expression. He looked over at the big gray horse that his friend was riding, asking, “I don’t remember him when I was here last time. Is he new?”
Teo nodded. “Just picked him up yesterday. The owners are gonna stable him through the winter and asked me to take care of him. He’s a good horse.”
Sylvan was a good horse. As soon as Cal climbed up in his saddle, he felt relief wash over him. The big stallion was calm and easy-mannered, unlike Gus who danced around beneath Teo. His friend managed to keep him under control but the horse required constant attention to keep him in line. Whenever Teo wasn’t watching, he would reach over and nip Cal’s thigh or butt. Once, he even ripped a hole in his jeans.
“Gus really likes you, bro,” Teo said, laughing when the stallion took another bite out of Cal’s leg. “I’ve never seen him act like this before!”
Cal scowled, casting the side eye at the horse. His butt and thighs ached from all of the biting. No matter how hard he tried to keep Sylvan in front of the other stallion, Gus always managed to sneak up and grab him. It didn’t help matters that the horse’s ugly cock was jutting hard and slimy between his rear legs. Cal felt the back of his neck grow hot with embarrassment; he was relieved when they reached the quarry and left the horses tied to a tree.
In some ways, it was as if nothing had changed between the two friends as they slipped into the easy rapport they’d enjoyed earlier in the week. Cal stripped out of his clothes and dove into the deep, cool water, laughing and splashing as Teo joined him. Like always, Teo refrained from skinny dipping, opting to keep on his boxers while Cal swam around naked.
In other ways, though, the vibe was distinctly different.
Now it was Teo who sported the superior physique. He was sculpted like a Greek god, complete with Adonis wings over the waistband of his boxers. No longer skinny-fat, his posture and demeanor exuded self-confidence without a trace of cockiness. He inhabited his body easily, as if he’d been born like this, and Cal grew more and more creeped out as the afternoon wore on to evening.
Teo was floating on his back, looking up at the cerulean blue sky, and humming to himself when Cal swam up. The old quarry was on a secluded patch of land adjacent to the state game area and hadn’t been in use for decades. Cattails and reeds had slowly reclaimed the shoreline, making it feel almost natural. The square outline of the lake and its sudden depth, however, betrayed its origin. They hadn’t seen another person for hours and it was easy to imagine they were miles away from civilization.
“So, bro,” Cal began, “what’s yer secret? How’d ya do it so fast?”
Teo looked up at him, water dripping off his hair and beard. “Do what so fast?”
Cal sighed. “Oh, c’mon, man! Don’t act stupid! Was it steroids?”
“Steroids?” his friend repeated, furrowing his brow. “Whaddaya mean?”
“Cut the crap!” Cal hissed. “You know what I’m talkin’ ‘bout! Yer ripped like a total beast, dude! The last time I saw ya, you were just a scrawny, half-developed nerd.”
Teo exhaled, floating over until his big, firm body was all but resting against Cal’s own. “Let’s see,” he rumbled. “I got a haircut yesterday and bought some new clothes ‘cuz my old ones didn’t fit right but I just assumed I’d had a growth spurt.”
“‘A growth spurt?’” Cal demanded, standing up in the water and staring at his friend. “A fucking ‘growth spurt’? Really? You ‘spect me to bah-lieve that?”
He was about to launch into an extended diatribe when he noticed Teo’s puzzled expression. His bro had never once lied to him as long as he’d known him. Sometimes he wished he would because Teo tended to overshare but deceitful was not an adjective you used to describe him. And right then he was staring at him with a look of such innocent confusion that Cal knew he wasn’t pretending.
He sighed and put a hand on his bro’s incredibly beefy arm, saying, “You gotta trust me on this, bro. Yer different. Really different.”
And then he saw them.
Beneath the generous coating on his bud’s chest and belly were a bunch of angry, red welts. Without thinking, he reached out and traced a finger over them. “Are these the mosquito bites you got at the lake?” When Teo nodded, Cal grew concerned. “They don’t look right, bro. You need to have ‘em looked at. I’ve never seen mosquito bites like that!”
Teo pushed his hand away. “Nah, bro! I’m fine! ‘Sides, they’re already healing up! They don’t even itch anymore!”
Cal was undeterred. “Promise you’ll go to the walk-in clinic on Monday, bro. I’m worried ‘bout you!”
This gave Teo pause and he met and held Cal’s gaze with his soft, brown eyes. “Sure, bro. I promise. I’m sorry. I didn’t realize you were so concerned.”
He sat up in the water and stood over Cal, looking down at him with clear affection and then completely surprised him by enfolding him in the softest, tenderest hug ever. Cal wanted to pull away and knew he should because this kind of contact between men (especially when one of them was naked) was not right. But he couldn’t make himself do it.
Instead of pulling away, he hugged Teo back.

Chapter 2
When they returned to the ranch, Cal fired up the grill while Teo took a shower in the stall behind his little cabin. The owners of the ranch were away for the weekend and they had the grounds to themselves. Cal had brought a couple steaks and a cooler full of beer and the delicious aroma of grass-fed beef soon filled the air as the meat sizzled on the grill. He sat back and nursed an ale while listening to the sultry drone of cicadas in the trees above. The cabin was in a private corner of the grounds and overlooked a small pond. Just behind the grill was a screened-in porch with a swinging chair and comfy cushions; all in all, Teo had scored a really great place to spend the summer!
“Hey, bro,” Teo’s deep voice rumbled behind him. “I’m sorry but I don’t eat meat anymore. I’ll make sumthin’ vegetarian for myself.”
Cal turned and was opening his mouth to protest (Teo a vegetarian? Since when?) when he noticed what his friend was wearing and froze. “Uh, dude,” he said, averting his gaze, “aren’t you gonna put on some pants?”
His bro was standing there wearing only a t-shirt and holding a beer. While he stared, Teo shrugged and tilted the bottle up and took a long swig. Lowering it, he exhaled loudly, smacking his lips. “Ah, man! That’s good shit!”
Cal flushed, unable to keep his eyes from falling to his bro’s crotch and the enormous tube steak dangling between his furry thighs. Since when had short-dicked Teo grown such a huge cock?
“Teo,” he warned, “put on some fuckiin’ pants!”
“Why? You just spent the whole afternoon prancing around naked. What’s the big deal?”
Cal opened his mouth and then closed it. Teo did have a point, although he objected to his use of the term, ‘prancing.’ As he struggled to formulate a reply, his bro lowered a hand and scratched his huge, hairy balls thoughtfully. Cal watched them sway back and forth in Teo’s stretched-out nutsac and felt decidedly inadequate. His balls were tiny by comparison! Shit, his dick was small by comparison, too! How the fuck had Teo grown so…big…practically overnight?!
“I’m gonna go inside and get my dinner ready,” Teo announced, turning and displaying his big, beefy and extremely hairy ass. “I’ll make enough for you if you wanna try. I’ve been working on some new recipes.”
Cal watched him walk through the screen door, jumping when it slammed shut behind him.
***
Teo made the biggest bowl of salad he’d ever seen and proceeded to wolf it down with gusto. When he was finished, he produced another huge bowl of mixed grains, doused it with Cholula hot sauce and devoured that as well. Cal watched him in shock, amazed that anybody could eat that much food. When he was finally finished, he pushed away from the table and lay back, rubbing his hugely distended belly.
Noticing Cal’s wide-eyed expression, he laughed, “Don’t worry! Yer safe. I only eat vegetables.”
“That’s…I mean….wow, dude.” Cal looked down at his half-eaten steak and shook his head. He had considered himself a big eater until that night.
“I dunno why,” Teo mused, “but I’m always hungry these days. I had even more than this for lunch!”
Cal shook his head. “That is pretty crazy but I guess it’s lo-cal. Lotsa carbs and fiber. You must take some really big shits!”
Teo grinned. “Yeah, let’s just say that being regular ain’t a problem for me.”
***
They sat out on the screened porch after dinner, watching the stars come out and listening to the crickets chirp. A screech owl hooted occasionally from the far side of the pond and they heard a deer snort once nearby, making them jump.
“You know what?” Teo murmured, leaning back in the porch swing next to him, “we should go horse camping this fall along the Au Sable.”
Cal turned to his friend before abruptly looking straight ahead. Still not wearing any pants, Teo was sitting with his beefy legs spread wide; his low-hangers dangling off the seat of the swing. And his fat cock was…Cal flushed, wishing he could unsee what he’d just seen. Finally, realizing that Teo was waiting for his response, he shook himself and said, “Uh, yeah, that’d be fun. I’ve never been up there but I’ve heard the river is really beautiful.”
Teo nodded. “It is. The Shore-to-Shore Horse Trail runs through the Huron National Forest and there’re campsites just for horseback riders. If I talk to the owners, I’ll bet they’d let us take Gus and Sylvan up there.”
“What ‘bout school, bro?”
Teo shifted and his muscular arm pressed against Cal’s and his hip…Cal tried not to think about the fact he was sitting on a porch swing, hip-to-hip with a nude dude.
“We could miss a couple days, I think,” Teo mused, taking a long swig out of his beer. “Make sumthin’ up, you know? Yer creative; I’m sure you’ll think of sumthin’!”
Cal smiled wanly, studiously avoiding thinking about the heat of his bro’s naked body pressing against his own. Teo was awfully warm! He wanted to move away but didn’t want to be obvious about it. When he scooted over slightly, Teo leaned against him again.
“I would love nuthin’ better than goin’ for a long weekend horseback ride with my best bro,” Teo commented when Cal remained mute. He turned and looked over at him in the moonlight. “I’ve never been happier, man. Thanks for comin’ out here!”
***
They went to bed after it cooled down sufficiently in the cabin. A small breeze came up and blew refreshingly cool air inside, making for a comfortable night’s sleep. Cal slept on the little bunk next to Teo’s bed and promptly fell into a peaceful slumber.
That night, he dreamed of riding Gus, the huge stallion’s firm, muscular body coursing beneath him. He was folded against the big horse, holding onto his neck so tightly that he felt like his body was an extension of the stallion’s. The faster they rode, Gus grew warm and sweaty beneath him, pumping his hooves harder and harder and undulating beneath him in an almost erotic fashion. He awoke with a start when he realized he was furiously turned on, his erect cock digging into the stallion’s hot, slick fur.
When he opened his eyes, he realized he hadn’t been dreaming. His erect cock really was digging into hot, slick fur…the hot, slick furry crevice of Teo’s ass, that is. His buddy had climbed into bed with him! He let out a startled yelp and flailed away, landing on his butt on the floor. He was utterly bewildered and grossed out.
“WHAT THE FUCK?!” he demanded, squinting in the dim light. It was so dark he could barely see but he could hear Teo’s ragged breathing and feel the heat emanating from his body. “WHAT THE FUCK, TEO?!”
Teo let out a low moan followed by a loud fit of coughing. When he spoke, his voice was gravelly, “Sooooo cold, bro! I’m sooooo cold!”
Cal was about to shout back at him but stopped at the sound of the coughing. It didn’t sound good. He sighed in exasperation, reaching out and feeling around for Teo’s forehead. He drew back in alarm when he realized his friend was burning up with fever. His brow was hot to the touch and he was clammy with sweat. With a lot of effort, he set aside his outrage, insisting, “Teo, hey, bro? Yer really sick! We should get you to the ER.”
Teo groaned loudly, breaking out in another fit of coughing. “Nah, bro, I’ll be fine,” he croaked. “I’m just really cold!”
“Do ya have any blankets or another sleeping bag?”
“Nooooo,” Teo moaned, extending his hand and pulling on Cal’s arm. “That’s why I climbed into yer bunk. I’m fuckin’ freezin’! Do yer bro a favor and warm me up!”
Cal scowled. He really felt that it would best if he got his friend to a doctor but Teo was very resistant and kept pawing at him, trying to drag him back into bed. He assured Cal that he would be fine once his fever broke. “We can go to the ER in the morning if I’m still sick,” he pleaded.
In the end, Cal gave in and, gathering up all of the blankets he could find, piled them on top of Teo and climbed into bed with him. Teo spooned against him, pressing firmly against his chest and stomach and drawing Cal’s arms around him. His hulking body was burning like a furnace and soon Cal was sweating. He couldn’t believe that Teo could be cold when he himself was practically dying from heatstroke!
It was supremely weird spooning with a naked guy, especially one as beefy and hairy as Teo. Cal had only spooned with girls before and then only under duress. He preferred to sleep alone. Gritting his teeth, he tried not to think about Teo’s blocky, muscular ass planted firmly against his crotch and prayed that no one ever found out about this. If the guys on the football team ever heard of it, he was fucked.
***
Teo wasn’t better in the morning. If anything, he was worse. His face was ashen and he barely opened his eyes when Cal lightly slapped his cheek. Finally, after Cal slapped him harder, he opened his mouth and drool slid out of his lips. His eyes rolled back in his head and he moaned, “Arrrrrgh.”
Cal fought back rising panic. Pulling out his iPhone, he debated whether to call 9-1-1 or to take his buddy directly to the hospital in his jeep. The problem was that Teo was a really big dude and Cal wasn’t confident that he could haul him all the way to his car. He took a deep breath and made up his mind, calling the emergency dispatch and giving them directions to the ranch.
The ambulance arrived about a half hour later. Cal had just barely managed to put some clothes on his friend, seeing more of Teo’s body than he ever wanted to in the process. For some reason, his legs were bent at odd angles that shouldn’t have been possible. Even more worrisome were the two, huge bumps protruding from his hips. He froze, staring at the protrusions with concern. They were red and angry, pushing out from his skin like a couple of blunt horns. He reached out and touched one, drawing back in alarm when he felt bone.
Bone?
Why the fuck were bones growing out of Teo’s hips?
Teo whimpered in pain just then and Cal shook himself, forcing his attention back to readying his bro for the trip to the hospital. The doctors would have plenty of time to figure out what was going on with Teo later.
***
Teo never left the hospital.
Cal went back every day, asking about him. He tried calling his room but no one answered. He texted repeatedly but never got a reply. Finally, after a week, he called the information desk at the hospital and they informed him that Teo had been moved. Anxiety spiking with this news, he asked where he had been taken but the person on the other end wouldn’t tell him. He hung up, reeling in shock. If Teo had been moved to a different hospital, things weren’t good. What was wrong with his friend? Did he come down with that weird disease? What was it? Triple E or something?
Teo’s Instagram feed was dormant, the same with Facebook. Cal checked out his parents’ and siblings’ pages but activity on their timelines ceased the day that Teo went to the hospital. He became so desperate for news that he drove over to Teo’s house. When he knocked on the door, though, it was answered by Teo’s grandmother. She didn’t speak English and Cal’s Spanish was terrible. Finally, though, after a lot of pantomiming and butchered Spanish, he managed to get his question across to her. The old woman smiled, exposing teeth much like Teo’s and pointed to the west.
“Em Ace Jew,” she said, jabbing her finger insistently. “Em Ace Jew!”
“‘Em Ace Jew’?” Cal repeated before he understood. “Oh, MSU! Is Teo at the hospital at MSU?”
The woman nodded, smile widening as she reached out and clasped his arm, asking, “Jew want to see heem?”
Cal nodded. “Yes, I would love to see him. Can I visit?”
She shook her head vigorously. “No, no can visit! Él está en cuarantena.”
“Quarantine?”
Holy fuck! What did Teo have that required being kept in quarantine? A second later, another fear hit him: What if he had been exposed? Was he in danger of getting sick, too? He started to panic before realizing that someone would have contacted him if he were in danger. He’d given the 9-1-1 operator and the paramedics his address and phone number. No, someone would have called him. He felt marginally better.
Still, finding out that Teo was being held in quarantine at MSU didn’t bode well. And why would they have sent him to MSU when the University of Michigan hospital was one of the best in the Midwest? It didn’t make sense.
He thanked the woman and left a note with her to give to Teo’s parents when they got back. Mind roiling with concern for his bro, he drove home and waited.

Chapter 3
School started and there was still no word on Teo. Cal went back to classes with a heavy heart, worried and missing his bro more than ever. He was irritated that Teo’s parents never returned his calls. Likewise, they refused to respond to his plaintive messages on Facebook. No one at school knew anything, either. Even the teachers were in the dark about his friend’s condition.
He dropped out of football and stopped hanging out with his buddies. He lost all interest in girls. Some mornings, it was hard for him to crawl out of bed. Nothing got him excited anymore and he even stopped working out at the gym. After his grades started slipping, his dad sat him down and asked if he would like to talk with a therapist. For some reason, this angered Cal and he stormed out of the house, jumping into his jeep and tearing off down the street, wheels squealing loudly.
Not knowing where he was going, he headed west of town, eventually winding up near the ranch where Teo had worked. On impulse, he swerved into the driveway and parked in the lot in front of the corral. Horseback riding lessons were just finishing up and he wandered over to the fence, gazing into the barn longingly. He half hoped to spot Teo, pulling the saddle off his horse.
There was no sign of Teo but the owner was inside. She saw him and waved, walking slowly across the corral to meet him.
“You’re Teo’s friend, aren’t you?” she asked, shielding her eyes against the slanting September sunlight and gazing up at him with a warm smile. “I’m Rachel. Have you heard how he’s doing?”
Cal shook his head, grumbling, “Nope. Nothing. Not a word. It’s like he just disappeared.”
She nodded sympathetically, reaching out to place her hand on his arm. For some reason, this brought tears to his eyes and he pulled back, holding his face in his hands and crying like a baby. He was horrified at himself for carrying on like this but couldn’t stop. When she came around the outside of the fence and hugged him, he lost it. It took him a good half hour to get himself back together.
When he opened his eyes, Rachel reached up and wiped his cheeks with a shirt sleeve, murmuring, “Teo is a special guy. I can understand why you miss him so much. He’s lucky to have a friend like you.”
Cal nodded, still sniffling. He opened his mouth but didn’t trust his voice and instead remained mute.
“I was thinking,” Rachel began slowly, “would you consider coming to work for us after school and on the weekends? We’re down an instructor and I’ve watched you when you were here with Teo. You have a way with horses.”
***
He threw himself into his new job as riding instructor with a passion. He couldn’t wait for classes to get over and sometimes even skipped his last class in his eagerness to get to the ranch. It wasn’t a perfect fix for his depression but it was something to cling to. He still kept to himself at school and had little interest in other activities but at least his grades improved and his parents got off his back.
He was surprised to learn that, not only did he have a knack with horses, he was also a skilled instructor, possessing a patience and good humor he didn’t realize he had. His students loved him and their mothers loved him even more. He quickly became quite popular on the ranch and had hot women fawning over him like crazy but he didn’t return the attention. He was polite but never encouraged them to take their flirty crushes any further.
The only thing belonging to Teo he had was the ratty t-shirt the dude had been wearing the night before he went to the hospital. Cal had wadded it up and thrown it in his jeep, planning to toss it out because it was sweat-stained and gross. He couldn’t quite bring himself to part with it, though, and kept it in his bedroom at home. At night sometimes he would pull it out and sniff it, relishing his bro’s potent scent. Teo smelled like horses, dried leaves and musk. Cal loved his odor but it also made him miss his bud with a fierceness that left him gasping.
At the ranch, he and Gus made amends and he took to riding the stallion on the trails in the state land after lessons. The huge, black horse still grew frisky and aroused when he was around but Cal didn’t mind. He even grew used to the gelding’s ugly horsecock, laughing and batting him away when he got too close. Sometimes if he wasn’t paying attention, the horse would push him against the stall and try to mount him. Cal would dance out of way, scolding him good naturedly. Gus’ attention was the only attention in those days that he didn’t mind.
The weeks rolled on and soon it was October. The days grew cool and crisp and the trees were touched with muted orange and gold. There was still no word or sign of Teo. Cal had all but given up hope of ever seeing his friend again. The dude might as well be dead for all he knew, although he figured there would be some sort of announcement at school if he died. Time did nothing to assuage the longing for his friend, though, and he started wearing Teo’s t-shirt to bed at night. It made him feel close and set his heart somewhat at ease.
One day, he pulled his jeep into the high school parking lot to discover it was full of TV trucks with satellite dishes on their roofs and bright lights focused on the entrance. He parked and got out, wading through a hoard of reporters, photographers and camera people. Everyone was shouting and jostling, trying to get as close to the building as possible. There was a line of police behind yellow caution tape preventing them from entering the school.
Confused, he was about to ask a reporter what was going on when a large truck pulling a horse trailer drove up. The crowd went crazy, shouting questions when the driver got out and went around back to open the trailer. Cal craned his neck, trying to see who it was. When he recognized Teo’s dad, his heart stopped.
The man looked unhappy with the media presence and ignored the shouted questions. He threw open the trailer door and motioned to someone inside. There was a breathless moment when the trailer shook from the footsteps of the huge animal contained within. And then Cal was crying out with joy when he saw Teo’s head emerge from the trailer. He looked even more grown up than he remembered, his brown hair and beard were crisply trimmed and he was smiling.
When the rest of his bro’s body emerged from the trailer, Cal was certain his eyes were playing tricks on him. Why is Teo riding a horse? he wondered, leaning closer and squinting.
Then he realized Teo wasn’t riding a horse.
He was a horse.
Or at least his lower body was.
Cal’s mouth fell open and he stood there stunned. Camera flashes went off like hot sparks as chaos and cacophony broke out around him. The crowd surged forward, enveloping Teo in a writhing mass of madness. Teo stood above the fray, though.
Far above.
He towered over everyone, looking down at them with a funny expression on his handsome face. Wearing a familiar, red flannel shirt that clung to his big chest and a book bag attached to a harness on his withers, he politely answered a few questions (that Cal couldn’t hear) and then he was on his way into the building, his huge hooves clopping on the cement. People made way for him and Cal watched him saunter past, ducking his head to clear the doorway. He yelled out to him but his voice was lost in the crowd.
All Cal could think was, ‘He’s turned into a Clydesdale. He’s a fuckin’ Clydesdale centaur!’
The bizarre and unbelievable image of his friend’s massive, new horse body was seared into his brain. Fuck, Teo had transformed into one of the biggest Clydesdales ever! His hooves were larger than dinner plates and his horse body’s barrel chest was truly immense. Cal estimated he stood more than twenty hands tall. Not only was he huge, he was beautiful, too, with shaggy white feathering covering his lower legs. His sleek, chestnut hide shone in the camera lights, revealing every supple curve and bulge. His long, white tail swished proudly behind him, long and perfectly brushed.
Cal was frozen in shock, uncertain how to feel. His heart was pounding in his chest and he was having trouble catching his breath. He reached up and brushed tears from his face and, turning away from the crowd of reporters, slung his backpack over his shoulder and followed his buddy inside.
***
Teo was surrounded by throngs of people whenever Cal tried to get close enough to get his attention. It was a bit ridiculous and he soon gave up trying to talk to him. Instead, he texted him, asking to meet with him after school. Unfortunately, Teo never replied to his texts and Cal left school hurt and frustrated.
He thought that the commotion around having a real, live centaur attending high school classes would eventually die down but he was wrong. Teo became a sensation. His photos were everywhere Cal looked, on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Vulture…you name it. Over the next week, the crowds grew and grew. When rioting broke out one morning when Teo’s father pulled into the school parking lot with the trailer, the governor deployed National Guard troops to maintain order. Security was increased and all students had to show their ID each time they changed classes. Troops were stationed at every exit. Cal felt like he was living under marshall law and attending school became a particularly joyless exercise.
As the days wore on, Teo never returned his texts and the squadron of troops guarding him made it impossible to get near him. Cal was despondent. He dreaded the echoing clop-clop-clop of Teo’s massive hooves coming down the hallways and avoided being anywhere near his former friend.
It was a godsend when Rachel and her husband asked him to take care of the ranch while they took on a trip to the Rockies. He moved into Teo’s former cabin and found solace in caring for the horses every morning and evening. The weather grew warm and sunny and the sky hazy as an extended Indian Summer settled over southern Michigan. He often stripped down to his shorts as he did the chores, reveling in the sweat running down his back as his muscles strained with the hard work. He was meant for this life, he realized one day. He was meant to be outside in a barn taking care of horses. Nothing brought him more joy.
In the evenings if there was enough daylight, he would take Gus out on the trails. The leaves were falling from the trees by then and the air smelled rich and fragrant. One night when he was certain no one was around, he took off his shorts and boxers and rode naked, save for the tatters of Teo’s old t-shirt. (Cal had taken to wearing it every day under his clothes.) Gus was in particularly high spirits, arching his neck and prancing like a show pony. Cal laughed, leaning forward and hugging the stallion’s muscular neck.
The sound of hooves behind them gave him a start and he nudged Gus into a trot. The last thing he wanted was to run into another rider when he was basically naked. For a time, he thought they had left the other rider behind him but then he heard the unmistakable clop of hooves again. From the sound of it, the rider was coming at a pretty good clip. Cal cursed under his breath and pushed Gus harder, pressing him until he was at a fast canter. Soon, the great stallion’s chest was heaving and sweat was pouring off his hide. Cal eased up on the reins, worried the horse would overheat.
He was preparing to jump down and hurriedly pull on his shorts when a familiar voice called out behind him, “Well, look who’s here! My old friend, Cal Barkes.”
Cal’s heart jumped at the sound of Teo’s voice and he turned to find his friend trotting up, so big and handsome, a creature out of myth come to life in the present day.
Teo’s face broke out into a wide grin as he stared down at him, musing to himself, “He’s wearing my old shirt, too…and not much else from the look of it. Some things never change, I guess.”
Cal stood in the trail, unable to move as the strange beast approached. Nothing about what he was seeing made sense to his poor brain even though he thought he’d grown accustomed to Teo being a centaur. He found himself gazing up at the man-beast, dwarfed to insignificance by Teo’s truly massive Clydesdale body. Teo was shirtless, his bare torso dripping with sweat. He looked even broader and more muscular than Cal remembered. Belatedly remembering he was naked, he lowered his head and dropped his hands over his crotch.
“I’ve missed you, bro.”
Cal’s lower lip was trembling and he had to turn away to hide his tears.
When he remained silent, Teo clopped over, positioning himself directly in front of him so Cal couldn’t turn away. “Climb up here, bro,” he entreated. “Ride on me.”
Cal clenched his jaw. He wanted to refuse, wanted to shout at his friend, tell him how hurt and angry and confused he was. Tell him how much he had missed him and how worried he’d been. In the end, though, he didn’t say any of those things. Instead, he padded over to Teo and waited as his friend folded his forelegs low enough for him to grab hold of his back and swing up.
He was astride Teo! He couldn’t comprehend that the broad, soft back of the giant horse beneath him was his friend. With some effort he managed to straddle Teo’s barrel chest, drawing his thighs together and pressing into those firm flanks. He marveled at how much heftier Teo was than Gus. He made Gus seem like a pony by comparison!
And speaking of Gus, the gelding was standing off to the side of the trail, regarding Teo askance. A small breeze rustled through his black mane and his brown eyes shone orange in the light of the setting sun.
“He’s freaked out by you,” Cal observed. “He doesn’t know what to think!”
“Yeah, I get that from both horses and people,” Teo quipped, laughing. He raised his head and nickered at the stallion. Instantly, Gus relaxed and approached, lowering his head for Teo to scratch behind his ear.
The stallion leaned into Teo’s hand and then drew away, kicking up his heels happily. Teo grinned and broke into a trot with Gus following along behind. They rode in silence for a while, Cal in a bit of a daze. He was unable to get over the utter mind fuck of what was happening. He was riding Teo! Teo was half horse!
After a time, his bud looked back at him, urging, “You can touch me, bro. I won’t bite.”
Cal needed no further encouragement. He leaned forward and wrapped his arms around the human part of Teo, clasping his hands over his taut belly. Teo sighed at the touch and threw back his shoulders proudly. When Cal scooted forward and laid his cheek against the nape of Teo’s neck, he blinked back tears. Soon he was crying openly, his tears sliding down Teo’s chest.
“Aw, bro! I’m sorry!” Teo sighed. “If ya only knew how much I’ve been missing you!”
“Then why didn’t you reply to my texts?” Cal sobbed, beyond caring how un-macho he was acting. “Your parents wouldn’t even tell me where you were!”
“They changed my number for my privacy, bro,” his friend explained. “And yer not exactly their favorite person right now.”
Cal sucked in a ragged breath, demanding, “Why?! Why don’t they like me?”
Teo laughed, a pleasant, deep bass. “‘Cuz all I did was talk ‘bout you when I was delirious with fever. For some reason, they thought you did this to me.” He laughed again, adding, “I know it doesn’t make sense but I guess ya can’t blame ‘em. I mean, when was the last time you heard of a guy turning into a centaur?”
“Never.”
“Exactly.” Teo tossed his head, turning to favor him with a brilliant smile. “But that’s in the past, bro. Now it’s just you and me again.”
While they’d been talking, Teo had headed back to the ranch and Cal looked up to find they were standing in front of the pole barn. Cal reluctantly hopped off Teo’s back and opened the fence, ushering his friend and Gus inside. While the other horses whinnied excitedly at Cal’s return, Gus made a beeline for his stall, stopping and standing before it, waiting for Cal to groom him. Cal, however, was reluctant to be parted from his friend and climbed back atop Teo. He couldn’t stop hugging his brawny friend. He never wanted to let him go again!
Teo melted into his embrace, murmuring softly and taking Cal’s hands in his own much bigger ones. After a while, he moved his hands onto his hips as he surveyed the barn and the horses. “You’ve done good, bro!” he praised. “This place has never been cleaner and I’ve never seen healthier horses.”
Cal dipped his head, absurdly proud at these words. He was about to reply when he heard a wet splat followed by a loud gushing sound. A few seconds later, the air filled with the redolent scent of manure and urine. He narrowed his eyes, shouting, “Hey! Did you just take a dump on the floor, dude?”
Teo shrugged his big shoulders. “What can I say? I’m a horse, bro. And this is a barn. ‘Sides, Gus just did the same thing and I didn’t hear you yelling at him.”
“Teo!” Cal scolded, “I have to clean it up! Go outside next time!”
“Oh, Ok,” his friend replied in mock seriousness. “I’d hate to make the ranch hand actually, you know, do ranch work.”
“Teo…”
His bro held up his hands, laughing. “Ok, Ok! I promise next time I’ll take a shit outside.”
Cal harrumphed, jumping off his friend’s back and pulling out a hose to wash down Gus. The gelding was hot and sweaty from the ride and relished the cold water pouring over his body. Cal dried him off and groomed him until his coat was glistening. He led the stallion into his stall, filled up his feed and closed the gate, looking back to find Teo watching him with soft eyes.
“Yer so beautiful, bro.”
Cal lowered his head, flushing. “Thanks.”
Teo paced over to him, giant hooves making the ground shake beneath him. “Will you wash me off, too?”
“‘Course!”
He pulled out the hose again and found a bottle of Mane ‘n’ Tail soap and proceeded to lavish affection on his bro’s giant horse body, soaping him up and rinsing him off with gentle hands. He was finishing when Teo cleared his throat. Cal looked up at him questioningly.
“Can you, um, you know, get my back end, too?” His cheeks were beet red.
When Cal just stared, he turned and stuck his rump in his face, lifting his tail up high. Cal found himself at eye level with his least favorite view of a horse. His friend’s moist, black butthole protruded over the biggest, heaviest pair of balls he’s ever seen. It was nothing short of grotesque and he retched, eyes watering from the potent odors filling his nostrils.
“Jesus, bro!” he complained. “That’s just nasty!”
“Tell me sumthin’ I don’t know!” came Teo’s indignant reply. “Do ya know how ‘barrassing it is to ask yer dad to wash yer horsey butthole?” He looked over his shoulder at Cal, holding up his palms. “In case you haven’t noticed, bro, I can’t reach back there. I can’t even fucking wash my own asshole anymore without help! I hate it!”
Chagrined, Cal apologized, “Sorry, dude! I get it. I wasn’t thinkin’. And, sure, I’ll help ya out. I expect sumthin’ in return, though.”
Teo’s eyes narrowed. “And what is that, bro?”
“You’ll see,” Cal said, lifting his shoulders and turning back to his work.
He filled another bucket with warm, soapy water and gingerly cleaned his friend’s giant anal ring and balls. It didn’t help that Teo sighed and moaned the whole time, puckering and unpuckering his big butthole. Cal grimaced with distaste but continued. He objected, though, when he happened to look between Teo’s pendulous balls, each one bigger than a ripe grapefruit, and saw the enormous slimy cock jutting down at the ground.
“Teo, really? You couldn’t control yerself?”
“What?” his bro asked innocently. “You have magic hands, dude. Do you have any idea how good it feels to have someone touch me like that? I haven’t been able to jack off in months and I’m hornier than shit!” He paused before asking in a small voice, “I don’t ‘spose I can get ya to, um, you know, wash my horsecock, too?”
Cal exhaled through his nose but nonetheless agreed, huffing, “Jesus! Ok, fine!”
Unable to believe what he was doing, he stooped under Teo’s massive torso and, closing his eyes so he didn’t have to look at that hideous appendage, gently washed it with cool water. Teo’s cock was beyond huge, so wide he had to use both hands. Worse, it was sticky to the touch. In seconds, it was massively erect and throbbing. He cringed as he ran his hands down it, very mindful of the fact that Teo was moaning uncontrollably by that point. His neck went crimson with embarrassment when he realized his own cock was rigid between his legs. He was getting off masturbating a horse! What the fuck was wrong with him?!
He stopped, dropping that molten-hot cock, and stepped away.
“Why’d ya stop, bro?” Teo demanded. “I was so close!”
In answer, Cal jumped astride his friend once again and, taking Teo’s face in his hands, kissed him deeply. The kiss caught Teo off guard but he was soon responding hungrily, opening his mouth and inviting Cal’s tongue inside to explore. They kissed passionately for a long time, Cal pressing so furiously against Teo that he wished he could merge and become part of his friend, just as inseparable as the horse parts below.
Finally, though, he pulled away. Teo was gazing at him with such adoration that it melted his heart and he had to wipe his eyes. “Here, bro,” Teo urged, “jump down and follow me.”
Cal did as he was told and landed lightly on his feet. Teo swished his tail and turned, leading him over to an empty stall. Fresh straw carpeted the floor and a fresh blanket hung on the wall. Teo spread the blanket on the straw and knelt down, folding his huge horse body onto the straw until he was lying on his side. He held out his arms to Cal, inviting him in.

Chapter 4
Teo looked so studly lying there that Cal wondered why he’d ever thought his friend was homely. He was radiant with life and virile as a stallion…because he was a stallion. Cal couldn’t imagine anything more beautiful. Wordlessly, he joined his friend, lying beside him and sighing with contentment when Teo wrapped him in his muscular arms.
“Finally!” Teo sighed. “I get to hold you like I’ve been dreaming of for the past five years.”
Cal wormed into the gap between Teo’s arm and bulging chest. He shivered as his bro’s hands explored his naked body. “Five years?” he asked. “Really?”
Teo chuckled. “Ever since I fucked you that first time.”
“You did not fuck me!” Cal protested. “We were just horsing around!”
“Uh, my dick in yer butthole counts as fucking,” Teo pointed out.
Cal scowled. “Whatever.” He arched his back, though, when Teo’s hands cupped his buttocks. He flared his butt cheeks, all but inviting his friend’s fingers to explore his hole.
Teo accepted the invitation, drawing Cal against him until they were face to face. They kissed fiercely as Teo’s index finger worked its way inside Cal’s (almost) virgin hole. Cal whimpered but relaxed his sphincter, enveloping his bud’s finger up to the second knuckle.
“You had me fooled, bro,” Teo said, pulling back to gaze at him with those limpid, brown eyes.
Cal kissed him lightly. “Whaddaya mean?”
“You got all macho on me. Becoming a jock and playing football, fucking girls…I thought I was just one of your phases.”
Cal shrugged. “I still like sports and girls, bro. But I love only you. That’s the difference.”
He looked up questioningly at his bud’s sharp intake of breath and saw Teo’s eyes were shining. “I love you, too,” his best bro in the whole world breathed. “More than I thought was possible.” Cal kissed the tears away from his eyelids.
What Cal did next surprised them both. Reaching up to the little shelf over their heads, he pulled down a tin of Bag Balm, the ointment for chapped hands found in nearly every barn in the Midwest. Popping the lid, he dabbed a generous amount on his fingers before reaching back and smothering his butthole with it. He braced as the menthol burned into his nubile manbud. He decided it liked the feeling, though, and smeared more of it on himself.
Teo was watching him with round eyes. “Do you know what yer doin’, man?”
Cal nodded. “Yes and I’m ready.”
“Are you sure? I could really hurt you!” Teo paused before getting a sly look on his face and adding, “I mean, I know yer pretty loose back there but loose enough to take a horsecock?”
“Shut up, Teo! I’m not loose!”
“Ok, maybe not so much loose as slutty,” Teo teased.
Cal ignored him. He was already sliding backward, aiming his butt at that throbbing organ he knew was pulsing between Teo’s giant hind legs. Teo moaned when he grabbed his giant, flat-headed cock and guided it between his cheeks. His back was pressed against Teo’s soft underbelly and his head was between his friend’s muscular forelegs. Teo’s face became suffused with ecstasy and he threw his head back, moaning louder, as Cal massaged his hand over his pulsing shaft.
Cal experienced a moment of worry when he realized how huge Teo really was but his friend was right about one thing: He might not be loose but his butthole was certainly accommodating. He’d taken things far larger than Teo’s formerly tiny cock in his ass during their summer of experimentation five years ago. (He still blushed when he remembered lubing up a huge, industrial-sized Maglite with Crisco and shoving it in his hole.) Teo’s horsecock was enormous but he was confident he could take it.
It took some time and creativity but he eventually succeeded in stretching himself out enough. Teo bawled and the other stallions in the barn joined in with neighs of envy when he finally entered Cal. Cal’s eyes rolled back in his head as he felt himself part and accept the giant organ that no human man should ever be able to fit inside him. He felt his sinews pop and winced in pain, realizing he may have just wrecked his hole for life.
He didn’t care.
Teo was inside him.
Teo was inside him!
Ignoring the pain, he started working his ass back and forth, pushing more and more of that huge, leaking cock inside. He maxed out after about a foot or so and was briefly sad that he couldn’t take more..but there was plenty of time for more practice. And he was determined to give his bro the best fuck of his life.
Given how pent up both guys were, it didn’t take long before Teo was filling him up to overflowing with load after load of sticky horse cum. Cal reached down and jacked himself to a delirious climax as he felt his insides expand and finally burst, sticky cum spewing down his thighs and soaking the blanket around his knees. Teo was on fire, his giant hind legs bucking uncontrollably and his front hooves twitching. He couldn’t stop hollering.
When it was over, Cal sagged down, wondering what the fuck he’d just done. He felt like he was waking up from a drug-induced haze and was overcome with remorse. His hole! His poor hole! It was aching and didn’t feel right. Had he permanently damaged himself down there? Guys weren’t meant to get fucked by horses! What was wrong with him?!
Teo pulled back and his huge horsecock slid out of him. It landed with an audible thud on the straw behind him and Cal winced, unable to believe that club had just been inside him. It didn’t help that when he looked around, he could see Gus staring at him from inside his stall; the big stallion was pawing the straw, his huge cock dangling down between his rear legs. He didn’t need to read the stallion’s mind to know what Gus was thinking. He wilted with embarrassment. Oh, fuck! What had he done?
His friend must have sensed his post-coital regret because he pulled Cal up off the straw and folded him in his arms, praising, “You were a champ, bro! The best hole I’ve ever fucked!”
“I’m pretty sure I’m the only hole you ever fucked,” Cal muttered, still reeling from his impulsive decision. Real men didn’t get fucked! Only pathetic homos did. He could practically hear the guys snickering behind his back at school. “I shoulda been the one who fucked you.”
“Mmmm, I wouldn’t try to stop ya. Didn’t think ya were into fucking horses, though,” Teo murmured, kissing his ear. One of his big hands was stroking Cal’s bare bottom and the other was fondling his softening cock. He chuckled to himself, adding, “Unless you have sumthin’ ya wanna confess, bro. Have you an’ Gus been goin’ at it?”
“Ugh! That’s just gross! I’m not into bestiality.”
“And yet you just got fucked by a horse.”
Cal scowled and then moaned when Teo caressed his aching pucker with a thick finger. “That’s different! Yer not a horse!”
“Just mostly,” Teo said, smiling. He teased him with his lips, coaxing Cal to kiss him.
***
They made dinner together afterward in the cabin. It was pretty cramped and Teo had to duck to keep from hitting his head on the ceiling but Cal rigged it so he could use the cutting board. Soon, the centaur was chopping up armfuls of fragrant grasses that Cal collected outside. Cal had planned on making hamburgers for his own dinner but for some reason didn’t feel like eating meat that night. Instead, he cooked up a huge bowl of mixed grains from the stock that Teo had left behind before his hospitalization, and the two lovers took turns feeding each other beside a fire overlooking the little pond outside the cabin.
Teo lay down on his side and propped his head on his hand, smiling at Cal in the flickering light. He refused to let Cal get dressed and he was still just wearing Teo’s ratty, old t-shirt. The big centaur did relent and let him drape a blanket over his shoulders, though. Cal sat cross-legged before him, trying not to pay attention to his aching pucker. It seemed to help because it hurt less and less as the evening wore on.
“So, bro, tell me,” Cal began after they had finished eating and Teo had enfolded him in his big, strong arms again. “Why’d ya go to the MSU hospital anyway?”
“Not the hospital for humans, man. They transferred me to the veterinary hospital when they finally figured out what was happening to me. They thought at first I was turning into a horse!” He snorted with laughter. “I mean, really?”
“I ‘spose they didn’t know what to think,” Cal mused. “It is pretty incred-AHH!-ible. Hey! Watch those fingers!” He squirmed; Teo’s roaming hands had just scored his tender hole again.
Teo ignored him, exclaiming, “Jesus, bro! You got real ass lips now! I’ve never felt anything like this!” To Cal’s embarrassment and delight, he wriggled a fat finger inside him and stroked his prostate. Cal moaned, arching his back and fighting against an impulse to let his bro fuck him again with that huge cock. Why was he eager to be fucked all of a sudden? It wasn’t like him.
He gave a start of surprise, though, when Teo took his hand and guided it down to his ass, forcing him to touch his own hole. “WTF?!” he shouted, pulling his hand back in alarm as he remembered a disgusting fisting video he and Teo had watched once a long time ago. “I’ve got a prolapsed anus! Oh, fuck! Why did I let you fuck me?!”
“Chill, dude, it’s not prolapsed,” Teo soothed. “It’s just swollen.” He reached back and traced his finger gently around the circumference, smiling at Cal’s shudder of ecstasy. “Go ahead, clench.” Cal did, squeezing his sphincter together. While he did so, Teo tried to force his finger inside him but was unable to do so. Cal relaxed, exhaling, and Teo easily slipped his finger in. “If it were prolapsed,” Teo reasoned, “ya wouldn’t be able to do that. It does feel roomier than before, though.”
“Great. Just what I’ve always wanted.”
“Well, it is just what I’ve always wanted. You’ve got a real horsey butthole now, bro! I can’t wait to fuck it!”
And that’s what he did. Several times, in fact. By the time he was finished with Cal, his pucker was giant and swollen and protruding, just like Teo’s real horse hole.

Chapter 5
He awoke cradled in Teo’s arms. When he opened his eyes, his bro was watching him with an amused expression. While he stared, Teo reached out and tugged on one of Cal’s ears, teasing, “You look like an elf, dude.”
Cal pushed his hand away, frowning. “Shut up!”
“No, I mean it. Yer ears are pointy. And hairy, too!”
Cal sat up, frown deepening as he covered his ears protectively. “Yer such an asshole, I don’t have–” He froze, mouth falling open when he realized his friend wasn’t joking. His ears really were longer and…furry?
He jumped to his feet and nearly fell over. His legs weren’t behaving properly and it was hard for him to stand. Heart thudding against his ribcage, he looked down at himself in confusion, only to discover his feet had elongated and his legs were twisted at odd angles. Worse, there were telltale bumps protruding from his hips. Bumps just like when…
“OH, FUCK!” he yelled. “FUCK OH FUCK OH FUCK OH FUCK!”
While he was freaking out, Teo pushed himself up and plodded over to him. Cal looked up at him, his misery deepening when he realized his bro was grinning from ear to ear. Teo knelt down and lifted Cal off the ground, gently swinging him over onto his back. Cal sat down, clinging to Teo’s waist and whimpering pathetically.
“It’s alright, bro,” he reassured. “Yer gonna be fine. Trust me, yer gonna be just fine.”
He turned and trotted toward the barn.
***
The next few weeks were a blur for Cal. He was overcome with a raging fever and passed in and out of consciousness. He was only vaguely aware of Cal leaning over him, pressing a cool rag against his forehead and murmuring soothingly. Other faces came and went, including Rachel’s, his father’s and other people he didn’t recognize.
He didn’t understand what was happening to him until one morning when he flicked his tail to shoo away a pesky fly. He froze, realizing he hadn’t dreamed it. He did it again, gritting his teeth at the alien and yet completely familiar sensation.
He opened his eyes.
Teo was asleep beside him, his giant horse body pressing up against another, smaller horse. From the look of it, the other horse was a beautiful Thoroughbred with a shiny, chestnut coat matching Teo’s. Cal pushed himself up on his elbows, the knot in his stomach betraying an unwelcome but quickly dawning understanding. When he struggled to stand up and the Thoroughbred’s legs started kicking ineffectually out to the side, he knew he wasn’t imagining things.
“Ah, yer awake, Beautiful.”
He turned and stared at Teo with wide, fearful eyes, kicking his horsey legs, trying to outrun the truth. The horrible truth…
Teo looked tired and his beard was longer and thicker and in a bad need of trim but his face shone with happiness as he stared at Cal. He placed a warm hand on his shoulder, squeezing. “Don’t worry, Cal. I’m here. I’ll show you everything you need to know.”
He pushed himself to his feet and stood over Cal, holding out his hand. Cal looked at the hand and then at his giant friend, so big and magnificent with his Clydesdale body. He reached up and Teo’s calloused fingers clasped his own, pulling him upward.
He staggered and almost fell over as his hooves scrambled to find purchase on the straw. Teo’s grip was strong, though, and soon he was standing shakily on all four feet. He looked around, taking in the barn and the other horses who were all craning their necks over the doors of their stalls, trying to get a good look at the two centaurs. He stamped a foot, looking down in amazement at what had become of his lower body. He was a small, sleek Thoroughbred, perhaps fifteen hands tall. Teo towered over him, his head more than two feet higher than Cal’s. His torso was wider and much more muscular than Cal’s as well which was slim and lithe in comparison.
He couldn’t stop staring down at his horse body. While he was struggling to make sense out of what he was seeing, Teo clopped over to a nearby shelf and brought over a mirror, holding it down so he could look at himself.
Cal goggled, demanding, “Why do I have horse ears and you don’t?”
Teo shrugged. “Dunno, dude. But they’re hella cute on ya.”
Cal grimaced, twitching one of his long and tapering ears in distaste. He looked ridiculous!
He was opening his mouth to say more when Teo surprised him by leaning down and kissing him. They merged, the big stallion leaning down and pulling him upward until his forelegs were straddling Teo’s human torso. “Welcome to the family, bro,” Teo whispered, pulling away to nuzzle his neck. “Welcome to the fam.”

In May, Teo’s dad drove them up to northern Michigan in the horse trailer, leaving them off at a trailhead near the Au Sable River. Teo lifted a pack onto Cal’s back, stooping to fasten it, before hefting his own, much bigger pack onto his withers. Cal trotted around to his side and cinched it snugly with straps over his barrel chest. And then the two centaurs were off. They trotted along the trail together, Cal prancing and kicking up his heels as he ran circles around his lumbering friend.
“That’s right,” Teo drawled, reaching out to slap his hind quarters when he got too close. “Go ahead and rub it in! I can still outlast ya, though. You’ll be dragging yer horsey ass by the time we get to the campsite.”
That wasn’t quite true. Cal still had plenty of energy when they reached their site at a bend in the river. He helped set up camp, propping up the poles to their big tent and laying their dinner out on a picnic table. He waited until Teo was folded down on his legs to start the fire, before sneaking up and mounting him.
“Hey!” the big Clydesdale complained. “What’re you doin’ back there?”
“Fucking you, that’s what,” Cal replied, laughing. “This is the only time I can reach yer hole! Now lift yer tail!”
Teo pretended to be affronted but nonetheless complied, lifting his tail and pushing his rump backward. Cal crowed with triumph as he thrust his forelegs over his lover’s back and his horsecock scored Teo’s bulging hole. After a couple quick thrusts, he was in and his buddy was writhing beneath him.
It was a rare event to have at Teo’s hole and he was intent on making the most of it, trying his best to stretch him out even though he knew his own cock was only a fraction of the size of Teo’s. Still, he did his best to leave his mark and his yellowish jizz was oozing out of his friend’s well-used hole by the time he was finished.
“I hope you enjoyed that,” Teo moaned, wincing in pain. “Cuz paybacks’re hell, bro!”
“You can pay me back whenever you want,” Cal replied. “You know I never turn you away.”
Teo laughed at this and, nudging him off, led the way down to the river where Cal helped to wash him off. Soon, they were engaged in an epic splash battle, kicking and jumping and stomping until they were both soaking wet and happy.
The water was cold but it felt good on their still-sweaty bodies and they sank down in the current. Cal nestled against Teo’s giant flanks and his big bro slung an arm over his shoulders. They lay there, watching the sun set and the sky turn rosy red overhead.
“Ain’t this the life, bro?” Teo asked, mussing Cal’s hair fondly. “I can’t think of anyone I’d rather be a horse with.”
Cal looked up at him and smiled, catching and kissing his hand. “Me, neither, bro. Me, neither.”
